where did the summer go?

I can't believe that it's August 31 already. I'm in serious denial that the summer is coming to an end. It doesn't help that we have had an unusually cool summer here in Toronto which means I feel like I haven't had a summer at all. Humph.

Usually, I love the fall because it means I get to wear cute jackets and light sweaters, and of course, the leaves turn a stunning array of colours. Now that I'm all grown-up, it also means I don't really dread the return to school like I used to.


But, the start of fall also means that winter is just around the corner. And I'm seriously not ready for that yet.
